Our 112th Day….
If you have been following the blog since the beginning, we had made a list on our 300th day of the 300 things we plan to do once we have moved to Florida. Some things have changed since than, so we thought it would be fun to revisit it and make it 112 things we want to do in Florida at this point. Join us, you may see some familiar names.
In no particular order…
- Have drinks and dinner with friends
- Attend the “Food and Wine Festival” at Epcot with the family
- Split a funnel cake with friends at the Magic Kingdom
- Find a house of worship- make Church friends
- Hold our first “Relocated Tourist” Disney Meet
- Meet “Mike” and the “Be Our Guest” crew at some type of event
- Give my Mom, Dad, and Brother a tour of our new home town
- Buy new furniture for our new place- super excited about this!!
- Visit the Kennedy Space Center– maybe see something launch.
- Get our Florida Driving Licenses so we can then buy our Resident WDW AP Passes.
- Visit Lou’s family restaurant in Naples with our family
- Meet Lisette Torano
- Ride “Dinosaur” over and over again with Kyra
- Take an Epcot Tour with Scott Otis and ride Big Thunder Mountain again
- Visit Busch Gardens with the kids
- See Paramore or Linkin Park with Belle in Orlando
- Have a Birthday Party with my FL friends
- Volunteer at “Give Kids the World” Village
- Find every Renaissance Faire in FL and attend thee
- Put Florida license plates on my vehicles
- Have drinks with Mary at Citywalk
- Have girls night with Suzzanah and Nicole
- Attend Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios
- Have an adult beverage on the balcony of Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Eat at the T-Rex Café with the family
- Sun bathe on a FL beach while listening to some good tunes
- Ride “Soarin” with anyone who will ride with me
- Build a sand castle with my kids near the ocean
- Start up official website with chat forums
- Hang out with Craig Duncan somewhere in WDW
- Have a great meal with Beci Mahnken
- Attend the “Flower and Garden” Show at Epcot with my Dad
- Ride “Peter Pan” with my hubby any time I want
- Enjoy “It’s a Small World” with my Jessie
- Get Jessie ready for ESchool and Bell for her Senior Year
- Have a Disney day with my pals
- Help at a local homeless shelter
- See a Disney movie opening night at the Movie Theater in DTD
- Attend a Sunday worship celebration at the House of Blues
- Ride a Hot Air Balloon in DTD
- Meet a Disney Imagineer
- Draw every character possible at the Animation class at DHS
- Shop the IKEA
- Swim with the Dolphins somewhere
- Drink while blogging around the World Showcase
- Visit the Florida Chamber of Commerce
- Send out my first mail from my FL address
- Make my first phone call from my FL home
- Finally play in Disney Quest
- Check out a Cirque De Soleil Show
- Take a Segway Tour at Epcot
- Buy perfume in Italy at Epcot
- Have Kelly and family over for a visit from WI
- Play at Blizzard Beach
- Take the kids to the Disney parks after school
- Dinner with the friends in WDW
- Hang out at the MCO Airport to meet friends flying in
- Enjoy a Dole Whip in “Bawb’s” honor
- Go Hidden Mickey hunting with the family
- Feed the Sting Rays at Sea World– show Craig I am NOT Chicken! LOL
- Tell anyone I want to that I am a FL Resident
- Watch “Illuminations” anytime I want too
- Drink a Butter Beer at the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” with the girls
- Have a picnic under a palm tree with my Craig
- Attend “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” with FL friends
- hang out with the WDW Radio Team
- Read our first copy of “The Orlando Sentinel”
- Be a part of the televised “Walt Disney World Christmas Parade”
- See palm trees when I wake up in the morning
- Have Sunday breakfast after church at a Character Meal
- Get picture with Mickey and my FL License
- Drive under the Walt Disney World arch every week
- Go to garage sales in my area
- Renew our wedding vows on the beach for our 20th Anniversary
- Have professional family pictures taken in front of the Castle
- Camp at Fort Wilderness
- Finally eat at Le Cellier in Canada
- Take the “Behind the Seeds” tour at Epcot
- Go on a Disney Cruise in 2012
- Spend a night in a room at Concierge Level at WDW
- Lose weight and fit into a tiny bikini
- See a Broadway play in Orlando- preferably “Wicked” or “Spamalot“
- Have Kay and Will visit us and show them WDW
- Visit a Disney spa for a massage
- Watch the 4th of July fireworks in the Magic Kingdom
- Enjoy New Years Eve on top of the Contemporary Resort
- Eat dinner at ”The Crystal Palace” in MK
- Bottle sand from the first time I visit a FL beach.
- Dress up for Star Wars Weekends
- Sit by the “Fountain of Nations” at night and just relax
- Ride “Test Track” with my hands in the air
- Attend Lou’s 24 hour show
- Ride the TTA at night while SpectroMagic parade is on
- Watch Belle get to enjoy “Grad Night” at WDW
- Attend the DIS parties at DHS
- Try a Carrot Cake Cooke at the “Writer’ Stop” at DHS
- Visit our Relocated Tourist fans while they are on vacation
- Help out any Disney Podcast or Magazine
- Attend the Candlelight Processional at Epcot
- Do a character breakfast at Universal Studios
- Go to a WDW Radio Meet and hang out with the gang
- Enjoy an entire morning of watching the Gorillas at AK
- Watch ‘Yee Haw Bob’ at Port Orleans Riverside
- Eat at Joe’s Crab Shack anytime I want
- Watch the “Tour de France” at the ESPN Club
- See the opening of the Fantasyland expansion
- See the “Blue Man Group” at Universal Studios
- Bottle sand from the first time I visit a FL beach.
- Attend “Night of Joy” at the Magic Kingdom
- Dance down Main Street with my kids
- Write a book about our story
- Buy new art at the “Art of Disney”

Seems like a great list! …being a non-Disney person, I have no idea what 3/4 of the thing are …but they seem fabulous! LOL

Wow..we are more alike than I thought! Alot of these are all things I would love to do & a couple I got to do when I lived on the border/coastline of Ga & Fl.
I take it you dont have an IKEA anywhere near you now, huh? We have one here & it’s nice. They have everything there. I should/can send you a catalog if you want-if you dont already receive one.
A s far as Wicked, I want to go see that this Sept when it’s here in Pittsburgh again or better yet, I’d love to go to NYC in Aug I think it is.
You have alot of fun & exciting things to see & all of you will enjoy it.
