A Disney Anniversary Fairy Tale

How to plan your very own Disney Anniversary Fairy Tale – now that’s a great topic! Why you might ask, well grab your favorite beverage and read on. Don’t worry it’s not that long :).
My Fairy Tale was in 2006, when my husband and decided to renew our vows for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Both of us being huge Disney Fans, ok me more so, we decided what better place than Walt Disney World! Wasting no time at all I contacted Disney Fairy Tale Weddings to discuss how to go about doing this and request my wedding brochure. (Please note: Disney Fairy Tale Weddings has its own website. ) After speaking with one of the specialists, they assigned my own wedding planner and from then on I spoke with her directly making all the plans and arrangements. It was basically as if you are planning a wedding and they have packages for everyone’s budget too! I had the Escape Package at Sunset Pointe located at the Polynesian. It included: Violinist, Cake, flowers, limo, officiant, champagne, photos, and more. I began this process a year in advance and I would suggest at least that if this is something you are planning on doing.
There was 14 in our party which was made up of friends and family. I chose not to have a reception for budget reasons so after the ceremony we had the limousine drive us to Hollywood Studios, wearing our Mickey and Minnie Wedding Ears, we had dinner at Mama Melrose and then went to Fantastmic! So that is my Fairy Tale and they do come true, and it CAN happen to you!!!!

Diane, I loved reading your story! My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at WDW almost 3 years ago, and we were fortunate enough to celebrate our 1st and 2nd anniversaries there too ( and our third coming up in about 2 months.) Best place to celebrate for sure!
