2013 Food and Wine Festival at Epcot

Have you tasted your way around the world yet?  Each Fall Epcot at Walt Disney World, hosts the Food and Wine Festival.  This year it runs from September 27 – November 11.  Located in World Showcase you can enjoy many different culinary experiences and drinks from famous chefs and the Epcot World Showcase tasting booths.Epcotgiftcard

If you are heading to Walt Disney World this Fall, this is something you won’t want to miss.  Here are some reasons why!

1. You don’t only get to try food from some of your favorite chefs, you can interact with them while they are preparing the food for you.  This is your chance to ask questions and see how it’s done.  You may find some of the best foods aren’t all that hard to make!

2. International food is plentiful while you enjoy sweet treats from Belgium or seafood from the ‘land down under’.  Over 25 global marketplaces are available between World Showcase and Future World.foodandwine

3. New experiences this year.  Even if you’ve been to the Food and Wine Festival in the past, there are new ways to temp your taste buds.  If the world of mixology seems interesting, you can have it shaken and stirred.  Learn the secrets to entertaining.  This event is from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm and the cost is $80 per person for standard seating and $95 per person for reserved seating.

4. Do you watch Bizarre Foods of America on TV? Listen to unique stories from Andrew Zimmerman and other famous chefs as they recall their time behind the apron.  Different dates available and costs for each chef varies.

5. Ever wonder how food and wine is paired?  Check out the demonstrations from Japan or Morocco.  This event is held either Tuesdays or Thursdays and held in the appropriate pavilion in World Showcase.wineEpcot
