Another fun collection to be found at the Volo Museum in Volo, Illinois is this wall of offensive ads that would never make it today. As I read each one, I found myself clutching my pearls more and more, and I am a Gen Xer! HOW anyone thought these were ok, I will never understand. Smoke instead of gaining weight. And an Ad to promote such a ridiculous thought?! We may be oversensitive these days, but wowsers, these were something else- enjoy!
