My Disney Scrapbook Pages- EPCOT and all its Meanings

There are certain moments and memories you recall easier than others from Disney vacations past. For some reason, one of the stuck ones in my head is this very page I made. Picture this- you have been on your feet all day in the Disney Parks. Your feet are swelled to grapefruits, your back feels like you have been climbing Mt. Everest all day, and your clothes have been sweat through about ten fold at this point.  You follow the masses to the Disney bus area to queue with everyone else who reeks of magic and sweat, just to stand and wait some more. The bus finally shows up, you painfully take each step up the stairs and then play the game of “Are there any seats left.” Nobody is talking, everyone is irritated and tired, and they shut the lights off to let everyone relax until their resort destination.

UNLESS you get the most chipper, happiest, full of every cup of coffee known to earth Cast Member, who decides it’s time to chat it up with the bus on what E P C O T stands for. Yes, this happened. Now, the beginning of my day, I would have been more than happy to play along. But I am sure the daggers people were shooting to this bus driver would have ended his mood more than once. So, these have stuck in my head. Hence this scrapbook page was born, because I will never forget them. I know there are many other things it stands for, and would love for you to leave in the comments the ones you have heard.  On a side note, we rented or brought or own car every trip after LOL. I don’t mind the busses, but the wait for it, the crowded feeling, and the overall experience after the Parks closed convinced me I would rather have my own transportation.

I just punched out die cut tags, used eyelets for hidden Mickeys, and just cut a half silver circle for Spaceship Earth from Epcot. As you can see, this was when Panoramic prints were a big deal, and they were pretty cool to take and print but a pain to scrapbook because of their odd size. As you can see, I didn’t bother matting it. It would’ve popped more, but it takes a lot of paper for those kinds of prints. I love this page because it’s fun and I hope it inspires someone to make the same kind. Do you have one similar? I would love to see it! Like my pages? Check out my other ones HERE, HERE, and HERE. Posting new layouts every week, so subscribe to the blog to not miss out. Have a great day!
